Dominas & Partners‘ managing partner Gediminas Dominas participated in the first meeting of the Task Force on emergency arbitrator proceedings mandated by the Commission on Arbitration and ADR at the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) in Paris.

This Task Force was created in 2015 to study the experience to date under the ICC emergency arbitration provisions, and the experience of other institutions offering these kinds of proceedings; as well as to analyse all aspects, including procedural and substantive issues that may arise and examine any trends that may emerge in emergency arbitrator proceedings.

The Task Force's findings will be prepared in the form of a report for use by parties, counsel or arbitrators involved, or considering being involved, in emergency arbitrator proceedings.
